Sidwell FC

Sidwell Football Club was established in March 2007 and are a Sunday morning football team. We now compete in the Woolwich and Eltham Sunday Football Alliance Division 2 after being promoted at the end of 2008/09 season. We are a fast growing club, and have a squad of 19 players with 10 associate members. We train at 7.15pm every Tuesday night on a state of the art simulated grass arena at Charlton Athletic Football Clubs training ground at Sparrows Lane, New Eltham. Our home ground is Co-Op in New Eltham and comprises of a large number pitches, changing rooms. Club Colours are Claret and Blue and the Club is affiliated to the London Football Association.

Today was the official handover of the Sponsors shirt, to the club sponsor, Bexley Funeral Service. Dan Wilson represented the club to present Adrian and Bina of Bexley Funeral Service with a replica Sidwell shirt and team photo just in time for Christmas. The presentation was held at the Service’s shop in Blendon, and was witnessed by Sidwell supporter Alan Wilson. The shirt will sit with pride in the shops main foyer, and staff wish to congratulate the team on reaching the league cup Semi-Final and good luck in our quest for the title. Sidwell in turn wish to thank Bexley Funeral Service for the fantastic support this season, and we wish them and their staff a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year.
